What does telehealth counseling cost? Does insurance cover it?

Many insurances cover video-based counseling. Some even cover telephone only counseling. It varies from plan to plan- it would help if you contact your insurance carrier to determine if this is a covered service.

What if I don’t have insurance?

For individuals without coverage, we have other affordable options at discounted rates.  Through our program, PassionCONNECT, you can see a Licensed Professional for $85 per session or a Pre-Licensed Intern for $35.   Our mission is providing accessibility, affordable rates, and quality service for all!  Call us today to learn more about this program

What do I need to do to have a telehealth session?

Any wifi enabled device with a camera and microphone, along with a steady internet or cell signal, is necessary. For your convenience, your tablet smartphone,, laptop or desktop computer will work. You should also ensure that you have a private space where you can talk.  You don’t want interruptions or background noise..

What services are offered?  Can you provide counseling for kids, couples, etc? 

Yes! We do have  therapists who are able to provide counseling for teens and children, couples.  Some trauma and abuse issues can also be addressed through telehealth services.

What about safety, security and privacy?

Our telehealth services are provided through encrypted platforms. All platforms used by our practice meet both HIPAA compliance and insurance company standards for client privacy and security.
